
Golfing Breaks
The island is well served by golf courses and you can readily spend a short break or a longer holiday playing each course. All courses are within very easy reach of the hotel and are friendly welcoming clubs.
Rothesay Golf Course on Canada Hill is one of Scotland's most scenic courses. It has panoramic views covering the seven Counties surrounding the Firth of Clyde. This 18 hole course which was designed by James Braid and Ben Sayers is 5455 yds long S.S.S. 67
Bute Golf Club; another stunning location at Kingarth overlooking the isle of Arran. This challenging links course has nine holes.
Port Bannatyne Golf Club has fabulous views over Loch Striven to the hills of Argyll. This course has thirteen holes with a par of 67 based on 13 plus 5 holes.
Golfers, either on your own or in a group are well provided for at The Ardyne. We have a secure store for clubs and good drying facilities for your shoes and over trousers etc.
You can either book a table in the restaurant for dinner or have a meal in the bar. Special menus for groups can easily be provided to suit all budgets.
